BalTie Connection

I spent May almost the whole month in China, mainly because of my father's health condition. He was hospitalized two days before I got home, and he is still in the hospital. I feel relieved that I can spend some time with him at this time of his life. I am glad that he is getting better and better day by day. Tomorrow is Father's day, Happy Holiday to my father!

In the middle of this visit, the tragic earthquake hit Sichuan, I was totally shocked by the damage it caused, and pretty much surprised at the quick response of the people and government. I hope the people affected by this tragedy will recover and rebuild their home as quickly as possible. You can not help feeling the vulnerability of human beings, and you want to remind yourself: cherish your life, cherish your today.

Yesterday afternoon, Tim Russert passed away suddenly because of heart attack at the age of 58, his show on Sunday is the one that I watch, although I am not very much into politics, I guess I just like his personality, his style. I sure will miss him and his show.
